ABOUT ME

As an artist, my goal is to create immersive works that can deliver different emotions and viewpoints to the audience. I aim for my audience to be heard and understood; as every art tells a different story, evokes different emotions—and each one is just as important as the other.
I take a keen interest on story telling, world building, character designing, and exploring different art styles and mediums.
There is no limit to art.

TARGET

Be a formally published illustrator.
Establish my brand and identify as an independent artist

I also enjoy interactive situations where everyone can get to interact and speak.
I am an active listener.
I can work under pressure.
I am adaptable, I can learn and adjust quickly.
I am interested in learning and trying before i form a solid opinion on something.

WHAT CHALLENGES ME
I struggle with anything too-scientific and mathematical.
I am restless.
There's a lot I want to do, sometimes it is hard to decide which one to do
first.
I struggle in activity management.
I'm not keen on filming and editing.

WHAT CAN HELP ME GROWStudying: School Library, OnlineArticles, PDFs, Books, Youtube.Participating in live events.Communicating.Being open to share my works.

WHAT COULD GET IN MY WAY
Management: working and studying at the same time.
Poor sleep and eating habits that can result in poor health.
The pressure to keep my career while being a student.
The adjustment period is always the heaviest; learning how to balance and adjust.
Unplanned and unexpected life events.

WHAT I LEARNED SO FAR

STAYING MOTIVATEDI always like to keep in mind that i have to live in the present, and i look
forward to listing out all the good things that i experienced—even the
smallest wins.
Down days are inescapable, it isn't always rainbows and butterflies. But i keep in mind that everything passes, and I'll pull through. I always do.

QUOTES I KEPT
—What you’re not changing, you are choosing.—
—There’s always something to learn from someone.—
—“It’s not easy.
It hasn’t been. Not in the longest time.
But this is the hard I choose, because it outweighs everything else.”—
—90% hard work, 10% luck——It all works out in the end.—

FOREWORD

I learned to draw a stickman before I learned to write my name. I learned to express and tell through symbols before the technical, known way.“As a kid, I was told I was gifted—talented.
As a grown-up, I was told I was brave for pursuing this path.”
Creating art and being an artist in a country that puts this aspect last was never easy. There were moments when I felt as if taking a different, practical path would be better than pursuing my passion. My country and my people are not the kindest to artists like me; we are often looked down upon, not taken seriously, and told it was just a phase.
I was one of the lucky ones blessed with a supportive family, who—instead of bringing down my aspirations—lifted and nourished them instead. I wouldn’t be here without their support.
There is no limit to art. And I intend to keep my promise to keep creating, for I will always be an artist at heart.
